I have decided to make a list of all the DVDs I have yet to completely go through. I have a tendency to buy stuff when I see it cheap or used (thank you, cheapy bins), and then not watch it because I’m not in the mood or too caught up with other things. These DVDs have been acquired over the course of several years, and some of these movies I have seen before; however, anything on this list has not been watched since I purchased it. If the DVD is a box set of a TV show, I will list the number of completed episodes. An asterisk indicates the title was purchased before September 25,2010.

This is one hell of a list! A lot of great titles. You have a lot of work ahead of you to watch everything that is asterisked though. Catch Me If You Can, The Aviator, Raging Bull and Fargo would probably be the first four that I would sit back and take in. These aren’t all neccissarily my absolute favorites (Fargo being the exception), but I would think that it would be quite easy to get through all of these in a day.
Also, if you haven’t seen it at all before, Double Indemnity should be at the top of your list. In fact, it’s so great that it should have a double asterisk in front of it. Spectacular film.
Pretty much impossible to pick just one. As for the movies with asterisks, I would say either Silence of the Lambs, Donnie Darko, Pulp Fiction, or Shawshank Redemption. The Dark Knight, Burn After Reading, and The Big Lebowski are all great too. Breaking Bad, season 3, is also a must see. Before season 4 starts, next week, if possible.
*gasp* How have you not seen The Princess Bride!?!?!? DO IT!
Also, Shawshank Redemption, No Country For Old Men, The Silence of the Lambs, and Donnie Darko. Those are my picks.
